This week, the project consortium will meet for the first time for the kick-off. We will be welcomed in Bremen by the project coordinator, ATB (Institut für Angewandte Systemtechnik).
Participating in the kick-off of a project like SmartCLIDE is very existing for a foundation like Eclipse. It is a new opportunity for us to attract new members to the foundation and a great opportunity to promote technologies from the Eclipse community.
By pure chance, the SmartCLIDE project starts at the same time as the Eclipse Cloud Development Tools working group. Working on related topics, this is a good omen because it will offer the working group and the SmartCLIDE consortium many opportunities for interaction and, we hope, will generate synergy between the two groups.
